  Hey all. I'm just sitting here, listening to Carrie music and thought I'd come say hello. So 2012 is going pretty well for me so far, how about you guys? It was my birthday last Sunday (8th), turned 21 :D thanks all for the birthday wishes. Anyway I had such a great day, my dad bought me a scooter LOL I'm petrified of the thing cause I DON'T want to fall like everyone else I know HAHA, I've been driving it around the neighbourhood visiting random people ... haha without a license (shhhhh please don't tell anyone) but I'm still scared of it. See I'm really short and my feet don't exactly touch the ground the way they meant to, only my tippy toes touch that's why I'm so scared I'm going to fall. I need stability or platform shoes HAHA! So yeah got a scooter, got 3 of my fave season's of Law and Order SVU (I freaking love Mariska Hargiaty), instead of 21st birthday key, my sis in law bought me a necklace with the key on it - so stunning - oh and I got tons of money and rings, necklaces, all girly stuff :D...

  I'm worried about my dog and my cat, the weather has been so hot the last 2 days that they seem so tired. They both really old - my cat is 14 and my dog is about 9 - and my dog Tyson messed in the house yesterday when I sneaked him in. Not only was it nasty having to pick up after him (he is a big dog too) but he just seems so off and he's moaning all the time. I stress about stuff like this. I love my pets I want em to be okay :( but I'm sure it's just the heat cause it really is HOT! Yesterday was about 110degrees and today could even be hotter. As I'm sitting here typing this the sweat is running down my face -- nasty I know LOL sorry -- but as they say African sun is a lot hotter than sun anywhere else in the world (except like India I guess). Makes no sense to me but whatever, all I know is that I am burning up! I'll never forget the Soccer World Cup 2010 when we did fan walks to the Cape Town stadium from the train station, it was winter and freezing cold LMAO these British guys (HOT) they were walking with like shorts and open toed shoes and sleeveless shirts and here we are bundled up. It was pretty funny to watch. The one guys name was Lance HAHAHAHAHAHA SOOOOOOO HOOOOOOT! But I really don't think I'd survive in snowy weather. Lucky I guess!

  So I've been watching Law and Order for the last week non stop. Except last Monday night I took my niece and nephews to go play games at Wonderland then we went for pizza. Had so much fun but sad to say that my niece is back on Johannesburg, she left last Thursday. I already miss her but I'll see her in December again. Plus I got tons of photo's to keep for the time being. I'm going to go clean up a little but (even though I am not in the mood) then I'm going to watch some Law and Order before the parents get back from work. 2012 I need to find a job so please pray that I find one asap, and one that I'll love.   Hi guys :D How's everyone doing? All is well on my side :) It's my birthday in 4 more days... I can't believe I'm going to be 21 WOW! So I decided for my birthday that I'm going to buy myself a few DVD's and I want a camara - I've never had one before :D HAHA yes I am lame I know! So I saw the pics of Ace and Penny, how stinking cute are they? Makes me want a new dog but I'm sorry to hear that Stella had to be given away :( I know Carrie wanted to keep her!

  The other day I watched "Soul Surfer" for the 100th time (not literally that many time but it's been a lot) and now I WANT THAT SONG THAT CARRIE SINGS IN THE BEGINNING! What's the name of it? And where can I get Carrie singing it? GAH :) lol

  So let's see what's new, well my niece is here i spoke about her in my last blog but I never realized how much I missed her geez! She's leaving again on the 12th but will probably be coming down to Cape Town when she starts high school next year! She's so pretty and tall wow, I told her mom on FB like she seriously needs to get that girl into a modeling agency cause she will do so well. She's got a perfect "Victoria Secret" model body! She eats like CRAZY lol. New Years day we just hung out all day swimming and getting burnt lol but when we finally ate supper, she ate like she hadn't eaten in years :0 I looked at her and was like "Where does that food go? To your toes?" HAHA it's insane, that's not normal! But yeah New Years was amazing!!! Went to a party New Years Eve but wasn't there long and came home to be with my family instead, we made a nice braai (BBQ) and then went got ice creams just before 12am :) it was a lot of fun. We went for ice cream Christmas Ever too lol ... seems to be our new thing! Summer is amazing, holy smokes I forgot how much I missed it! Just sitting by the pool, swimming, nice glass of wine :) THAT'S THE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Hello people. I've been so obsessed with Law and Order lately that I kinda forgot about Carrie :"( I feel awful LOL ... But I miss Carrie!!! I came on here now and while waiting to log in I found myself saying "I miss you Carrie" to the computer screen, I think I lost my mind :o well it wasn't really there to begin with :D haha. So yeah I'm officially Law and Order obsessed, I love Mariska and Chris in there too (they play Liv and Elliot). It's literally been all that I've been talking about for the last 2 weeks now, to the point where I've become predictable... pfft I've never been this easy to read. I'll say to my fam "Guess what's coming on tonight" then they say "Law and Order" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! But at least it's Law and Order and not some other crappy program like MANY reality shows that I could mention right about now but won't. Anyway it's almost Christmas, mommy bought me my Christmas prezzie -- Soul Surfer! And I cannot wait to watch it Christmas morning! :D I got to tell you guys though, this put the most amazing smile on my face, I lit up like a Christmas tree. I was in the music stores looking for the DVD but none of them stocked it so I go into the Christian book store to look for a Bible for my nephew in there and yupp I saw it right there... the Soul Surfer DVD :D it made me so happy and proud to show off to my parents that Carrie is such a great role model. So my mom bought it for me :) I can't believe that the stores will stock DIRTY movies but not such a great, inspirational movie. It makes me kinda sick actually! Shows you what this world is coming too but thank God for stores like the Christian one. Not only cause of the DVD but just in general. It's amazing!!! Went to go fetch my niece from the airport last night. She came down from Johannesburg for the summer and the holiday season. I was so happy to see her oh my gosh. She came walking down the ramp and she waved at me lol I didn't even recognize :) she's gone so stinking tall... another person who is taller than me (PS she is only 12 and I am 21) :/ I need to start growing now LOLOLOLOLOL! Okay so I'm going, I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and a happy new year... 2012 is the year TEAMCARRIE!!! Whoop... and awesome new years eve party :D okay bye bye bye bye bye xx Lauren

  Am I the only person who does not get jokes? HAHA I'm the type of person who laughs at funny things that happen to people eg. My friend fell going up the stairs... that to me is hilarious but when it comes to like "Knock Knock" jokes I just don't see what's so funny about it. On TV we have these adverts and every time I see it I think of Carrie cause I think she'd laugh herself sick. It starts off with this guy in a bar drinking a beer and then these two Jack Russell's ride past him on skateboards okay, then the guy asks the bar tender "Are those Jack Russell's?" so the bar tender says "No, they mine!" BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Many of my friends don't get it but that's the kinda humor I like. Reason I asked was cause there was a joke on the radio now and I was like "I don't get it" but everyone on the radio was laughing... guess I'm the odd one out.

  Bye guys have a great week further and YAY Friday is a holiday so I can't wait! And it's been announced that the 27th of Dec is going to be a public holiday too cause Christmas falls on a Sunday and Boxing day falls on a Monday. IDK confusing :s
